Say hello to Maddie, Redwing’s recent work experience placement.
Redwing have had an extra pair of hands at their Duke Street, Liverpool, base over the past two weeks. Year 10 student, Maddie, who joined us for a whistlestop tour of what life is like at Redwing. We caught up with Maddie at the end of her placement to see what she’s made of her first introduction to the property world and how she’s found life at Redwing!
We know two weeks isn’t a long time! What have the team been able to show you?
“The team at Redwing have showed me absolutely everything! I’ve been shown what it would feel like to be a real Redwing employee! I’ve been on site, I’ve been with the sales team and I’ve even been shown some marketing, too.”
“Everyone is so lovely and have all made me feel so welcome.”
Wow! You’ve been all over the place! Is this the first career placement you’ve ever done?
“Yes, and it has been such a positive experience, and a great introduction to the working world.”
“Redwing have been amazing. I have really enjoyed my time here and I’m sad to go!”
That’s great to hear. Has it made you think what kind of job you’d like in the future?
“My time with the team at Redwing has really made me consider a career in housing, which is something I hadn’t looked that deeply into before the placement.”
“I’d like to say a big thank you to Jess, Redwing’s Head of New Business, for organising the placement, and thanks to everyone at Redwing for having me!”
