Selling shared ownership with ease
Nomination period
Are you a Redwing shared owner?
If you are selling a shared ownership property, your lease requires you to instruct Redwing to market your home for the first 28 days. This is known as the nomination period. It gives Redwing the first opportunity to find a buyer in line with the terms of your lease.
If a buyer is not found within the 28‑day nomination period, you are free to instruct another estate agent if you wish.
How we support you during the nomination period
