Our response to the Chancellor's announcement
Redwing welcome the Government’s announcement made on the 8th July regarding the new stamp duty holiday.
This will be a massive boost for people looking to own their own home, with purchases under the value of £500,000 exempt from stamp duty between now and March 2021.

“The stamp duty holiday is great news for buyers, developers and estate agents like ourselves who’s businesses where put on hold during the coronavirus pandemic. The fact that the changes to stamp duty come into effect right away, means that buyers can continue with their plans to move home and the savings to be had, will allow more people the opportunity to take their first step on the housing ladder”.
