Why do I have to pay a deposit?
A deposit is held to ensure that any damages not caused by fair wear and tear can be corrected at the end of your tenancy. If the property is left in a good condition, the deposit will be returned to you in full.
What will happen to my deposit?
Landlords and letting agents are required to register your deposit with an approved deposit scheme. We use the Deposit Protection Service. You will receive full details when you move into a property.
How long will my tenancy agreement be for?
A tenancy agreement is a contract signed by both you as a tenant and us as a landlord, and outlines all the rules to which both parties must comply. Your initial tenancy agreement will usually be for six months. Subject to you satisfactorily maintaining your tenancy during this time, your tenancy will continue on a month to month basis. You may need your tenancy agreement at the end of your tenancy, so keep it safe.
What is a routine inspection visit?
We want to make sure that the property is being looked after, so we will carry out quarterly or six monthly inspections. We will also be looking for any maintenance issues which you haven’t already reported.
Can I decorate or make changes to the property?
In most cases you're able to decorate your property, though we'd ask that you inform your lettings advisor or any major changes. However at the end of your tenancy, you'll need to return the property to the same state as when you moved in.
What if I want to end the tenancy?
If you are in a fixed term contract (for example, if you are in the first six months of your tenancy), you will be liable for the rent until the fixed term is finished. Following this, if you want to end your tenancy, you must give one calendar month of notice. Contact your lettings adviser for more information.

Will I need a guarantor?

How can I pay my rent?
Our preferred method of rent payment is direct debit.
Am I able to keep pets?
This is dependent on the individual property you're applying for, your lettings advisor will be able to confirm.
