Redwing and M&Y shortlisted for award
Redwing and partners at M&Y Maintenance and Construction are celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious First Time Buyer Readers’ Award.
Shortlisted in the ‘best partnership’ category, the exciting new award category celebrates a collaboration of two or more companies who have worked together to deliver both quality and affordable homes for first time buyers. It will highlight best practice of partnership working within the housing sector and champions the ethos of working together to deliver more.
Redwing and M&Y have a strong history of partnership, first working to develop, build and market Bluebrook, a development of 19 family homes in the Lancashire village of Hambleton. The award shortlist celebrates the two companies’ work in developing affordable homes for first time buyers – breaking down traditional barriers to home ownership and increasing access to the market for first time buyers in areas that property prices may otherwise be restrictive, or quality lacking. Redwing have over 50 years’ experience in the sale and management of affordable homes, particularly shared ownership, whilst M&Y are skilled in the construction and maintenance of a range of properties.
Two of the most recent projects are designed to make home ownership more affordable in desirable Liverpool suburbs. Pavilion Point is a boutique selection of 14 apartments available through shared ownership in Aigburth. Lister Gardens is a stunning development of 20 apartments in art deco design, bringing quality and style to the shared ownership market. Both are constructed by M&Y and marketed by Redwing.
The partnership between Redwing and M&Y is set to continue, with exciting new developments designed to make home ownership more accessible to all. Developments across Liverpool, St Helens and Cheshire will deliver more than 80 homes over the next two years, with exciting plans to continue.
The First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards take place in London on Friday 24th April, and public voting begins on 3rd February.
